TIP OF THE DAY

Have two separate cuttings boards. One for meat and one for veg. Have them in two different colours or use a permanent marker to distinguish the two.

Pictured below is a scotch brite scrubber that works ideal for cleaning ...cutting boards. When cleaning a meat board, use your hands (the best tools) to wash off any visible strands of meat stuck on the board, then use the scrubber. This avoids any meat getting stuck into the bristles. Finish off with another second drizzle of dishwashing concentrate to get rid of any smells and rinse.

 When stac
king cutting boards after rinsing, don't stack them one behind the other, as one side wont dry properly and will still stay damp. Dry them separately and stack together only when completely dry.
