If you want to hang dresses/tshirts or wooly sweaters on a clothes peg (say at the back of your bathroom door) don't hand it through the neck as it leaves a nasty looking bump later on your shoulder. Hang it through both the neck and the armhole and you are bump free.. or use a hanger
